I'm a retired pharmaceutical sales executive who always had a passion for sports broadcasting and made it a hobby in 1985.

Now I have made it a part time career as I have been broadcasting Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragon Athletics on KHUT 102.9FM since 1998.  

​

In addition I co-host a local radio morning show along with a weekly sports talk show on KWBW 1450AM/98.5FM.

​

i serve as the Sports Director for Eagle Media in Hutchinson, Kansas.  

 

In March of 2023 I was also named the Voice of the Wichita Sky Kings, a Pro Basketball Team that plays in the TBL league on TBLTV.tv. 

​

I was recently named as a finalist for Sportscaster of the Year for 2023 by the National Media Sports Association.

​

In 2023 I was awarded Honorable Mention by the

Kansas Association of Broadcasters Medium Market Radio Play-by-play Sportscaster.

​

I recently was honored to be named recipient of the "Sportscaster of the Year" for 2022 by the KIAAA. The KIAAA is the state organization of  high school athletic directors. In 2020 I received the KSHSAA Oscar Stauffer "Sportscaster of the Year: award.  

​

I have also been honored to be named the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Hod Humiston Award Winner in 2017.  The Hod Humiston Award is for outstanding contributions to sports broadcasting and community involvement, and is basically the Kansas Sportscasters Hall of Fame.

I am very humbled and honored to receive these prestigious award national and state awards..
